About Makaila

Makaila Malloy, formerly your 2023 Teen Miss North Carolina, and now your 2024 Elite American Ambassador, is 18 years old, a resident of Hickory, North Carolina and she a senior in high school. She hopes to pursue a career in nursing as she will have the opportunity to graduate high school with her CNA license. Makaila has been involved in the world of pageantry for almost 3 years with experience in competing, judging, emceeing, and directing. 

Makaila created her own personal platform called, This Is Me. Where she teaches younger generations about bullying, harassment and what to do to stand up against a bully. She also wants to teach people of all ages to embrace who they are and to share it with the world and not be ashamed. Other than her platform, she also enjoys donating to women’s resource centers, blessing boxes, little free libraries, etc.
Outside of pageantry Makaila can be found a showing her passion for the gym, shopping, spending time with friends and family, volunteering, working in her community, and practicing hair and makeup.

It has been her dream to become a national queen for Elite American Miss and she puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She hopes to make her friends, family, and supporters very proud!
