The Answers You Need
Who can enter into one of your pageants?
Any female, 0-100 years old!
Are there any restrictions to beauty attire?
We do prefer natural- semi glitz looking dresses, so please avoid over the top beading and stoning on the dress.
Can we obtain judges scores from the event?
Yes. We do return score sheets after the pageant. Please pick them up at the judges table. If score sheets are not picked up at the end of a pageant they will no longer be available.
If you win one EAM pageant for this year, can you enter other EAM pageants?
Yes, you may enter as many pageants as you want!
What are the judges looking for?
Overall the judges are looking for a contestant that is confident, poise, has a big personality, and is having fun.
Beauty Wear is designed for the judge to assess the contestant’s facial beauty, poise, self confidence, and presentation in the dress; not the dress itself. It should be age appropriate for the contestant.
Outfit of Choice is designed for the judge to assess the contestant’s character, personality, stage presence and overall modeling of their outfit; not the outfit itself. It should be age appropriate for the contestant.
Photogenic- Judges will look for personality projection, clarity of photo, overall photogenic qualities and modeling potential.
Do I need to provide my own music?
No. We provide all music for our contestants unless otherwise stated in the paperwork.
Do you allow fallbacks or aging up?
We do not allow either at this time.
Can I go on stage with my child if they are afraid?
Absolutely, if they want you to. We’d like to see them go up alone if they are about 3 years old and up, however, we also don’t want to make them hate it! We pride ourselves in building self confidence, so yes, you can. Hopefully by the end of the day they will have gained enough confidence to take the stage on their own. Being on stage with your child will not effect their score.
Do you allow late entries?
We do not allow late entries due to fairness and the planning and preparation that goes into each one of our events.
Do I need experience to compete with Elite American Miss?
No. We provide each contestant with the information and tools necessary to do well. Remember, we are looking for natural beauty, charm and confidence!
Does everyone win something?
Yes! We are a crown all system! We want to make every contestant feel special.
What is People's Choice?
We bring a BEAUTIFUL crown or award and you bring the votes! It is one dollar a vote and the most votes wins the crown/award! Your family and friends can place votes online or at a designated table up until an hour before crowning.
Do I have to hold a delegate title to compete at Nationals?
Yes, you must obtain a delegate title to compete at Nationals. You can do this by visiting our EAM Delegates Title page.
Am I required to compete at Nationals if I hold a delegate title?
No. As much as we would love to see you compete with us again, it is not required.
Is there a contract?
For themed pageant titles or festival titles, no.
For national titles, yes.
What is in the contract?
The contract explains what we expect from you during your reign and what is not allowed (basically how to be a good role model). We do ask that you do community service and make appearances.
If I hold a title with Elite American Miss, am I allowed to compete in other systems?
Yes.
Do you allow spray tans?
Yes.
Are there any rules against fake hair?
Yes. You ARE ALLOWED to wear extensions, however falls or hair pieces are NOT allowed. We understand that some may have a medical condition and need to wear a hair piece or wig, in this case, please reach out to our directors.
